Across the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, Sage Care therapists have served thousands of children in their home environment, where they feel the most comfortable. Home-based therapy allows our licensed, highly trained and compassionate team members to work with family members to make activities and exercises part of a child’s routine. Pediatric therapy reinforces learning and builds on success.

Sage Care uses a multidisciplinary team approach to create a fun and nurturing experience for children with special needs. By partnering with the family, together we help your child achieve his or her greatest potential.

Sage Care provides specialists in three areas:

Pediatric Physical Therapy (PT)
Pediatric Physical Therapy helps children reach their maximum level of independence so they can be active participants in home, school, and community settings. Treatment plans are designed to improve motor skills, balance, coordination, strength and mobility, with or without the use of braces or a wheelchair.

Pediatric Occupational Therapy (OT)
Pediatric Occupational Therapy helps children be children. Therapists provide guidance and activities so they can better take care of their own basic needs as well as play and interact with others. Treatment includes exercises to improve hand-eye coordination, focus, attention and self-care.

Pediatric Speech Therapy and Feeding Therapy (ST)
Pediatric Speech Therapy services address issues that affect a child’s ability to communicate. Activities focus on verbal and non-verbal communication, understanding language and social skills. Because swallowing disorders and speech can be related, our therapists also work with children so they can feed themselves.
