Image of Sally Oldfield with student. There is always a significant need for occupational therapy so I, like a lot of my co-workers, had several options when I chose Sage Care and I’m often asked what attracted me to this organization. My answer is simple and it starts at the top…it was and still is the leadership. Most of our executives are also therapists so they “get it.” They know what it’s like to be in the car all day and to schedule visits from place to place and to meet each client’s plan of care. All the therapists in the field can call, text or come to the office and someone will always find time to sit down with us to talk. We always have access to leadership when we have an issue or concern and we trust their opinion and guidance.

We also have a strong team of support staff who help us with the more administrative tasks of our job and see that we have the tools and resources we need to provide our client’s with the highest quality therapy.

On a personal level, the best part of working for Sage Care is they value that I am a mother first. I am a parent of three young children and they allow me to schedule clients visits around important things I need to attend for my own children. I’ve been a therapist for more than 20 years and I’ve never had the respect and the ability to manage my family and my work life as much as I do now.

Lastly, I think it is important that people know there is a fun vibe at Sage Care. We all work well together, we support each other and we all truly enjoy what we do. I can honestly say the therapists I work with are more than co-workers, they are my friends.
